My love affair with photography began when I was travelling through Asia and Australia; I loved isolating on film the atmosphere and beauty of those faraway landscapes. It has since weaved itself around the events of my life, illustrating the moments and relationships I cherish the most.
Once I had my children I quickly became fascinated with capturing the magic of those early weeks and months as a new family learns to love, laugh and grow together. The expressions and body language of your relationship with your children are what I strive to reflect in all the images I present to you.
I don’t work in a studio, preferring to photograph you and your children in your own home. Whether you want to create a beautiful record of your pregnancy, or to savour the unique unfolding of your family story, I will bring together the threads of your lives in images. An expression, a cuddle, a giggle, a favourite corner, a treasured heirloom or a peaceful space. I will write your story in pictures, for you to share and remember in years to come.
I am a member of the St Albans and District Photographic Society, and constantly update my learning so that I can stay ahead of the latest developments in photography to give you the best of you and your family in pictures.
I have created this blog to offer my clients a sneak preview of their session which they can share with friends and family, as well as showing potential customers what I am up to week after week.

All I keep thinking is that in years to come every single family you have photographed is going to look back at these photos and feel nothing but immense joy. They are a record of all that is good in this world!
