The photo shoot usually takes place in your home, or in another location that is special to you. For a pregnancy shoot it may be a bedroom with good light. For pictures with children you may like to consider some shots outdoors, where I can capture their expressions while they play.
The session can take anything from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the age and number of children, and their mood on the day! Every now and then, children need some time and patience before they show themselves to me. I can appeal to their sense of fun to make sure all your personalities shine through in the images I give you.
I will edit your images to give you the best possible pictures, so don’t worry about minor blemishes such as scratches or stretch marks! A couple of days later, with your permission, I will post a sneak preview on my blog, featuring my favourite shots from your session. You can share these with friends and family. Within 2 weeks I will let you have a link to your own personal secure page on my website where you can review all the images and select those you would like to order. You have lots of options, from digital files on CD to images printed on canvas. For prices please take a look at my price list.
I am based in St Albans, Hertfordshire and can travel within a 10 mile radius. If you live further afield why not organise a day out in St Albans and come and feed the ducks in Verulamium Park? This can be a lovely backdrop for a photo shoot. I am available during the week and at weekends so we will agree a day and time that is suitable for you.
