What better way is there to catch the last few rays of sunshine, than running around and playing in the tall grass and picking pretty flowers? These three gorgeous little girls and I made the most of the Indian summer, creating Children Portraits in St Albans, Marshalswick. The girls, age 6, 4 and 2, had a great time and so did I!

The beautiful woodland paths and big fields made a great place to run around and also capture some stunning images.

The pastel colours of the lovely dresses add a delicate feel to the final images and help enhance the natural lighting. The girls also brought along a couple of little cuddly friends to help with the photo shoot. Even if poor bunny is upside down in one of them!

The expressions on the girls’ faces as they look down at the flowers and straight into the camera are so thoughtful and precious. The cheeky smiles after just running through the long grass also makes the images seem even more adorable!

We all had so many giggles on this shoot and the weather even stayed nice for us too!
