I am very excited to share this family photo session as it’s a bit different from what I usually do. Sheenagh and Jamie love to walk in St Albans with their two boys and wanted me to capture the fun they have together as a family. We included St Albans landmarks such as the St Albans Abbey of course, the Clock Tower and the Roman walls. Our city is full of history and I thought it was a great idea to include this in the family photo shoot.

We met up bright and early at the St Albans Clock Tower and started walking down through the cobbled alleys towards the Cathedral, and at 8am we pretty much had the place to ourselves which was perfect. There are so many interesting things to see in St Albans that we were spoilt for choice as to where to start taking photographs!

I have always wanted to take a shot in front of this little door: “Commit No Nuisance”!

We were very lucky to have St Albans Abbey to ourselves that morning and got some nice mother and baby shots by the gorgeous doors of the cathedral.  The weather behaved and the children were gorgeous too!

We carried on into Verulamium Park and had fun around the River Ver, feeding the ducks and stopping at the playground of course on our way to the Inn on the Park.
